Home / Births
At Heichal Leah, we warmly support families in celebrating the birth of a new child, marking this joyful occasion with meaningful traditions and community blessings. For baby boys, we offer guidance and a welcoming environment for the brit milah (circumcision ceremony), a sacred rite that traditionally takes place on the eighth day after birth. For baby girls, we invite families to a special simchat bat (baby naming ceremony), honouring her entrance into the community with blessings and joy.
Our synagogue provides a supportive space for these ceremonies, surrounded by friends, family, and community. To plan a brit milah or baby naming, please complete the form below, and a member of our committee will assist you with all the details, ensuring a memorable and meaningful celebration.
